We're thrilled that you're trying out HELIO! To use HELIO on your development machine or target device, a valid HELIO license is required for each machine. However, obtaining one is simple. We provide a 30-day trial license for you to evaluate and test HELIO.

The second thing you gotta have in order to get HELIO going is, well, HELIO itself. Easy peasy! Get the latest version for your OS from the downloads page:
Extract the Downloaded Archive
Since HELIO does not require any installation, you are basically done after extracting it. You can move HELIO
to a safe location on your hard drive.
Start the HELIO
executable using the Terminal of your choice
HELIO will run inside a new Terminal Window that should look like this:
Open the HELIO IDE
Open your browser and go to http://localhost:8512.
Provide Your License Key
If you start HELIO on a machine for the first time and haven’t activated it yet, HELIO will ask you for a license. Paste in the license key you’re received from our team.
⚠️ Be aware that once you have activated a HELIO license on your device, you will not be able to use the activated license on another device.
Sign into HELIO using the default IDE user
Click the Sign In
button in the upper right corner. Enter the default IDE user credentials that come pre-configured with each HELIO runtime:
Username | eve |
